Jonni Francis is an experienced realtor and has been a prominent member of the Rocky Point / Puerto Peñasco real estate community for more than 18 years.
Jonni brought the first globally recognized real estate franchise to the area: Coldwell Banker Affiliates de Mexico, named Coldwell Banker to Rocky Point.
Coldwell Banker Rocky Point was recognized as attracting the largest real estate agent sales force in the market during the explosive growth of our community in the 2000’s.
During that decade, Jonni was also instrumental in organizing the first local real estate association, the Puerto Penasco Association of Real Estate Agents (P.P.A.R.E.A). Uniting the real estate community to encourage and unite together to establish standards of doing business and to mirror its Arizona counterparts in professionalism and became the foundation for the functionality of the real estate community.
Working with John Fleming, who was a broker in Tucson, FLEX MLS was introduced to the market place to allow easy access to local real estate listings.
Jonni remained the President of the P.P.A.R.E.A for 2 years then continued as Membership Chair until the Association merged into AMPI Chapter 51 (Asociation Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobilarios A.C.)
Jonni’s commitment to the real estate community continues. She achieved the CRB (Certified Real Broker) designation from the National Association of Realtors and in Mexico. Instructors from the U.S. came to Mexico as part of an agreement with Coldwell Banker Affiliates of Mexico to provide the education which she proudly presents. She has been the Vice President of the Broker Council – MLS for 4 years until July 2015. Jonni is now a member of the Honor and Justice Committee as the Vice President of Ethics.
Jonni would say serving to improve the real estate community has always been one of her greatest accomplishments. Her public and proactive stands on cooperation between real estate brokerages, together with the importance of ethical conduct to Rocky Point’s real estate industry are widely acknowledged and appreciated.
